Oven Cleaning Made Simple

Most of my customers have the hardest time cleaning one item in their homes: the dreaded OVEN!

The most difficult part of cleaning an oven is getting all that baked-on carbon and leftover scraps off the inside walls of the oven.  Here’s a few easy steps to clean that dreaded appliance:

  1. First, heat the oven. Yes, I said to heat it — even if it is a self-cleaning oven, heat it first.
  2. Once the oven has been heated, turn it off and spray with oven cleaner (I like to use Easy-Off).
  3. Let the cleaner sit for about 20-30 minutes.
  4. Return to the oven, and wipe down with a wet towel or sponge.  All of the excess grime, dirt and carbon will easily wipe off instantly.
  5. Sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of your day!

It’s just that easy!

Of course, if you are not interested in cleaning your oven at all, you can always call the home-cleaning experts at Immaculate Janitorial Services.  We’d be more than happy to clean your oven for you!
